Mini Album

Hello my fellow crafters!

Sorry I have not posted anything for a while. I am still trying to figure out how to get my followers from Blogger to my WordPress account. Not having to good of luck with that! 

So lately I have been working on my first Mini Album. I have been wanting to do something like this for a while now. I never thought I could do it but so far so good. I just put the cover on it yesterday and it already looks pretty. I can’t wait to see what the finished album will look like. I am also working on making a blanket for my son. He saw me making one for a friend and asked if I could make him one. Yesterday he told me that I was the best creator ever!! 🙂  My daughter has been making a lot of paper crafts of her own lately. She say’s that she is just like me but only with paper. I love my kids! They make me so happy!

Crocheting = Relaxing

Hello! How are you all doing on this Sunday Morning? I would like to take some time from my post to wish all of my crafty ladies a Happy Mother’s Day! I hope you have time to relax on this very special day. Let your family take care of you. Remember MOM’S, You are just as important!

Okay now to what I have been up to. Last week I went to a conference so I wasn’t working on any crafts. 😦 OH WAIT!! I did work on some crafts! I had to make some tags for gifts that we gave to the organization. It wasn’t a big deal but it was nice to make something plain look so pretty! Yesterday I decided to organize all my yarn and crocheting needles. They were just laying around and I wanted to have them where I can see them. That way I am reminded that I am still working on things. While organizing all my yarn & needles, I noticed how many finished & unfinished items I actually had. (Sometimes I feel like I am crocheting for no good reason  LOL!) 

I have a question, Do you ever feel like you are hard on yourself when it comes to your crafts? Do you find yourself starting a project over because you weren’t happy with it? WELL I DO & a lot! So………., many of my crochet work is done & I always want to take pictures but I don’t because I am not happy with how it looks.

Since I already had my finished work out, I decided to take pictures! Now please remember that I am not happy with them. I feel that I still need A LOT of practice in my crocheting. Please let me know what you all think….

So tell me, What do you think? I am currently working on a baby blanket. I hope it turns out good because I am planning on giving it as a gift.

NEW Pretties!

Hello everyone!

Lately I have been working on so many different crafts that I end up not being able to finish them. At the moment I am crocheting a scarf and a blanket.  I am also working on learning how to make different type of flowers that are made with paper or tissue paper. I have been working on making mother’s day cards and scrapbook pages. Busy, busy, busy I tell ya! I have been having lot’s of fun doing all of these but the fact that I can’t finish them is really making me unhappy. Can you say sidetracked!!! Yes it seems like I get sidetracked with my projects A LOT!! It doesn’t help that I also have a little 3-year-old that requires my attention 24/7. He has SO much energy!! Sometimes I think, why can’t I have that energy. He is go, go, go all day!! NO KIDDING!!

So yesterday, since my laptop was out-of-order, I figured I would work on some of those projects that are sitting there waiting for me to finish them. Here are some pictures of all my PRETTIES….

The second picture is of my first Mother’s Day Card of 2012

The third & fourth picture is of another Mother’s Day Card. I know it’s very similar to my first Mother’s Day Card but I really didn’t like the way the first one came out. I wanted to try something different with the second one. I think it came out pretty good.
